Friday Favorites July 12, 2024: Walmart + Review, Cute Dress, America's Sweethearts, Eyelet Shirt, and Platform Sandals

 

Hey there Besties! The last few weeks have been a whirlwind, but they have been so Good. Towards the end of June we hosted a graduation party for Hockey Guy which was so fun but ridiculously hot. Last week we headed to orientation at his college and we feel so Good about freshman year. 

I can now take a breath and focus on my sleep, some cooking and this space. This was a little bit of a weird week Today, I am back for Friday Favorites and linking up with Erika and Andrea and sharing all of the things I have been loving lately. Are you ready? Let's go!

1. Walmart +

Am I late to this party? I have been thinking about Walmart + because there is a really nice Walmart near campus and I thought it might be a really easy way for Hockey Guy to order any groceries he needs. I signed up this week because it is half-price at $49.

So far I have placed a grocery order and saved ten cents a gallon on gas. I am pretty impressed with the whole program and they are having so many Good sales right now to compete with Prime Day coming up.

2. Cute Gauze Dress

 

I love this dress. I bought it in navy for Hockey Guy's party because navy is one of Hockey Guy's college colors. When I put it on for the party Hockey Guys said "oh, is that your game day dress?" It very well could be.

This dress is super flattering, the material is a soft gauze and is the right length. I also packed it for orientation and got a compliment while we walking through campus.

This dress also comes in black and white if that works Better for your summer wardrobe. I found it runs true to size and I chose a small. The Best part is that this dress is under $35!

3. America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders

The Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders are back, they are on Netflix and this production has received quite the glow-up. This show has all of the dance and all of the drama of the CMT show but the production level is much higher.

This version shows a little more behind the scenes about the ladie's stories. I definitely enjoy this aspect of the newer version. I am a big Kelli fan too!

Have you checked out the new version of this show? I feel like a lot of people that I know are watching it. This is a perfect laundry show...if you know what I mean.

4. Eyelet Shirt

Pardon the car selfie with the end-of-day hair, but I wanted to snap a quick picture of this cute eyelet top. It has been so hot here and I needed a few new shirts that I can wear to work with pants and skirts. I wore this top to week with kelly green pants and these sandals and it was a fun combination. 

This eyelet top is just perfect and under $20 right now. They also have it in pink. Once again, true to size so I chose a small.

5. Platform Sandals

I ordered these platform sandals by Tommy Hilfiger to wear with the navy dress above. I chose the white color but it is not really white, it is more of an ecru. I am not a white shoe gal. 

Once these shoes break in they are super comfortable. I wore them all day for the party and also during orientation. 

These shoes run true to size so I ordered an 8.5 medium. Color choices are red, black and then the off-white that I chose. They are also on super sale and under $50 right now. 

That's a wrap for this week Besties! I am looking forward to a little chill time this weekend because this week was a little weird.
