Bachelor Recap: Season 22 Episode 4

Welcome to the first ever Good Better Best Bachelor recap. While this is the first time I have done a Bachelor recap on GBB, I am not new to The Bachelor. I have watched every season of The Bachelor and Bachelorette since it started. Every. Single. One. Since this season is a Good one and I actually don’t detest the lead, I decided to give a Bachelor recap a whirl.

We open with a humming bird and all I can think is would Annaliese have been scared of humming birds had she stayed? Would we have been treated to of her stories about how a humming bird traumatized her as a child and then the producers would have done a fantastic, frightening reenactment of her humming bird torment? Ah Annaliese…gone too soon.

Sausage and White Bean Soup

Today is Tasty Tuesday on The Blended Blog and it's Tuesday Talk with Erika and Ashley and this sausage and white bean soup is just the Best. With the temperatures all over the place here and almost everywhere this is the perfect healthy recipe. So let's bust out the crock pot and get cooking.

I made this soup one of weekends right after New Year's when the temperature totally dropped. Running Daddy went out for a long run and when he came back in he asked if there was soup available. I told him that it just went in the crock pot and that it would be several hours before it was ready. As this soup slow cooked, the house started to fill with really Good savory aromas. Running Daddy came asked in the afternoon and if the soup was ready...nope not yet!

How We Wednesday: Goals/Resolutions

It's Wednesday and I am back in 2018 to link up with Shay of Mix and Match Mama and Erika from a Little Bit of Everything for their new link up called How We. This month we are talking about how we do goals/resolutions for 2018.

I love New Year's and part of it is because I met Running Daddy at a New Year's Day party fourteen years ago. I also really love New Year's because it is a time to stop and reflect about how we can all do life a little Better. I mean we can all be Better, live Better and love Better, can't we. This is not a time to beat ourselves up, it is just a time to hit reset. Here is what I am working on in 2018.

The Blended Blog Asks--January 2018

It's the first Monday of the month, not really counting New Year's Day, so it's time be check in with The Blended Blog Asks. As you can imagine, this month is all about resolutions and new starts with a dash of winter fun thrown in. Feel free to leave your favorites in the comments below too.

1) Resolutions or No Resolutions?

I am all for resolutions. I mean we can all be Better, live Better, try harder can't we?

2) Love snow? No snow?

I don't mind one Good snow per year. I think with the deep freeze we have had lately we might be in for a long, cold winter. The challenge here is, they cancel school at the drop of hat...or make that the drop of one snow flake which can be a little maddening for this New England girl.

3) Name a place you want to visit this year?

Our travel plans are a little bit on hold for right now, but I am looking forward to some family trips this year once we get some things worked out.

Friday Favorites: NYE Outfit, The Bachelor, Tea and Bread

Happy New Year to you all! Friday Favorites has a new look today and it just brings me Joy. Hope you are all having a Good New Year so far. I have high hopes for 2018. Once again I am linking up with Erika, Narci and Andrea to talk about the things that are bringing me Joy this week.

We had a fun get together on New Year's Eve with lots of food, games and cheer. I wanted to wear something fun but casual and this outfit was a really Good choice.
