February Monthly Musings: Spring Fashion Preview and Wardrobe Transitions

Hey Besties! Can you believe we are at the end of February? Today is my fun linkup Monthly Musings with Holly and this month we are doing a spring fashion preview and talking about transitioning our wardrobes. I am not sure what the weather is like where you live this week but "fake spring" is alive and well here. This is the perfect week to focus on spring fashion. I am ready to jump in, are you?

1. Favorite Spring Pieces in Your Wardrobe

This is a little tricky because we are all dressing so differently during the pandemic. For weekend wear, I still love a Good Lilly Pulitzer popover like the one below.

What's Up Wednesday--February 2022

Whew. February was a lot. There has been so much Good this month but there has also been a little too much on my plate. I am working on all of that Besties. February is a short month so What's Up Wednesday came up really fast this month. That means today is the day to link up with Shay and Sheaffer to chat about all things February. Are you ready? Let's do this!

1. What We're Eating This Week

We will be transitioning into lacrosse which means that we will actually have semi-normal dinners at home again most nights. This makes me very happy. We will also still have a little bit of hockey this week so I am still navigating what dinner is going to look like lately.

I can tell you that I have these easy ingredients in the house:

Tortellini and gluten free ravioli
Ground turkey for taco meatballs
Chicken breast tenders for air fryer chicken tenders

I also have lots of salad makings and vegetables for roasting.

Friday Favorites: Simple Things Feeding My Soul Lately

Hey the Besties! I know I have been a little absent lately. Our schedule has been so busy lately. Lots of hockey,  which is the Good stuff and lots of work. I am back today linking up with  Erika and Andrea for Friday Favorites. Today's list is a simple list of things that are feeding my soul in this season and bringing me Joy.

1. Walks and Talks with Friends

The last two Saturdays I have done walks with friends and it has been so Good for me. The first was with my friend who lives in Delaware and we just talked on the phone while I walked Stormy. My friend Kelley knows me so well and is a person I can always be myself with and she is a total delight.

Last Saturday Wine Gal K and I walked the waterfront in Old Town Alexandria and then went for coffee. We just spilled and shared and sipped coffee on a roof deck.
