My go-to casual outfit is a Good pair of casual pants, a tee, a Lilly Pulitzer Skipper popover and either Rothy's sneakers or a fun pair of sandals. I pretty much wear this on repeat for casual or weekend events.

What's Up Wednesday -April 2023

 

Oh April you always come shining through. While March is typically a stink-tastic month for me (this one was particularly bad) April always comes through with the sunshine, blossoms and my birthday to make things Better.  Since it is the last Wednesday of April, I am linking up with Shay and Shaeffer for their monthly link-up What's Up Wednesday. Settle in for the fun that was April in my post today.

What We're Eating This Week

Meal planning is more important than ever this week as we have two lacrosse games, I have a fancy reception and we continue hockey tryouts.

Friday Favorites: New Spring Scent, Ride, American Manhunt Boston Marathon, MR8 Boston Marathon and the Magic of Rainbow Peppercorns

 

Happy Friday Besties! Is anyone else so excited it is spring? I know I am. My irises are up in the yard and I have a new shipment of spring planted bulbs on the way to the house. I finally had my rescheduled surgery on Tuesday and I am recovering slowly but surely. More to come on that probably next week.

1. Good Chemistry-Tiger Lilly

While I typically wear Chanel Chance when I get dressed up, since the pandemic I have not really been wearing fragrances as often. Since I am all about spring right now, I have been pulling out my Clinique Happy but wanted to try something new.

1. Photo Cakes

You know what is a simple Joy? A photo cake. My friends Mrs. C, Mr. R and I pulled together a banquet to celebrate the hockey team last week. We didn't have a ton of time to put this together as there was really only one date that worked well for everyone. Mr. R said we really should have a cake as there was so much to celebrate for this team. This team had so much to celebrate we really needed two cakes.
