Friday Favorites-Rose, Best Lipstick, Shark Week and Odd Mom Out

1) Bobbi Brown Creamy Lip Color in Rose Petal

Do you ever buy a lipstick and leave it in a purse and then find it about three months later? Well that is what I did with Bobbi Brown's Rose Petal. I found this in one of my spring purses that I have not used in a while. The texture of the Creamy Lip Colors is the Best and this shade of pink is very soft and perfect for summer. I have been wearing it all week. Welcome back Rose Petal!

What's Up Wednesday: July 2017

What We Are Eating This Week:

Sunday: It was ribs and rose' night as I am testing some products for an upcoming post.

Monday: Chicken with sun dried tomatoes, rice and cucumber fennel salad.

Tuesday: It was just Hockey Guy and me for dinner so we had turkey burgers and hot dogs. I had the turkey burger.

Wednesday: I have one of my treatments today, so what we have for dinner will really depend on how I feel. We seriously just might have sandwiches.

Thursday: Grilled chicken, not sure of my sides yet.

Friday: Pizza night...always!

I am going to start with the fact that two of my Friday Favorites may actually lead you to think I have gone crazy. Summer vacation: Bethany Beach, DE

This woody wagon and boat are the Best!

We always go to Bethany Beach, DE over the fourth of July. It is the Best little beach town about three hours from where we live and such a family friendly place. The boardwalk is only about two blocks long with a bandstand, fudge, ice cream and little preppy stores. I get such Joy when we are coming back from downtown at night, usually on our bikes, from all of the people just out and about and getting an ice cream. Most of the traffic is either on foot or on bike.

1) Pink Skies:

Several nights this week we had the most beautiful pink skies at sundown. This is what vacation is all about, slowing down and stopping to see the beauty in life.

 2) Best Hometown Parade:

The little beach town we stay in has the Best hometown parade. Complete with bikes, bands, WWII veterans, old cars and elected officials. It's so low key that some of our kids even jumped in and walked in the parade for several blocks. It's just the Best time.
