Monthly Musings October 2025: All Things Halloween

 

Hey there Besties! I know I have been a little off the grid lately but I am so happy to be back on the site this week. It is really giving me a bit of a lift. 

I am happy to be back with Holly for Monthly Musings and we have a fun one for you today. This month we are talking All Things Halloween. I am so looking forward to reading the other posts about favorite Halloween traditions, movies and of course the candy. If you are not in the habit of visiting the other writers who link up with us, please try to choose at least two to visit this week.

Let's get down to Halloween business!

1. Favorite Halloween Traditions--Think Back if You Have Littles

For over a decade Running Daddy and our neighbor have built a Spooky Walk every Halloween. The decorations are Spooky but not scary.

I love to give out candy.  I am a total sucker for a Disney princess or Woody the Cowboy. Seeing all the littles on Halloween is one of my favorite things to do.

What's Up Wednesday October 2025

 

Oh October, what are you doing to us? This has not been the easiest month for us from when the calendar flipped over. We are all ok, but wow October you are not been all that nice. For now, I am going to try to find little pieces of happy to share this month by linking up for What's Up Wednesday with Shay and Shaeffer. Let's do this.

What We're Eating This Week

Keeping it real, I have not done any meal planning this week. It is probably going to bite me in the backside this week when I get home from work, but I am keeping it real.

Hello Monday October 27, 2025: October Monthly Musings Topics

 

I am back after a little break that I will share more about at a later date. I am popping back on the site today for Hello Monday with Sarah and Holly to share the topics for October Monthly Musings. 

The last Thursday of every month, Holly and I host a little link-up party with fun questions to answer. On Thursday we will be one day away from Halloween so we will be talking all things ghost, goblins and trick or treat! This will be a fun one.
