Hey Besties! May feels like it is actually flying by after April and March crawled by at a snail's pace. No matter what, I think we all need a long weekend! I know we do in this house. To kick off the Memorial Day weekend, I am linking up with Erika, Andrea, Narci to share what is bringing me Joy this week.
1) Palazzo Pants

I love palazzo pants. I think they are fun and can be totally chic but they have to be the right palazzo pants. Recently Top It Off Accessories gifted me several fashion items to review and these palazzo pants were my number one pick. The material is like butter and the pants have deep pockets. They are fluid and very forgiving with a drawstring waist.
I paired this with a simple black tee which could be worn when we can finally have get togethers again but you could also pair with a simple 1/4 zip shirt for a more casual safe at home look. When we can finally get out to the beach or pool again, I would totally pull these on over a bathing suit to run up to the beach club for lunch or a drink order.
As part of Top It Off's travel collection, they do not wrinkle. I have several pieces from the travel collection and they machine wash and line dry with no wrinkles.
A woman owned company, they understand a woman's shape and are at a really Good price point. The Best part, is that if you shop with my special code GBB10 you will receive 10% off any purchase!
The blue label on this prosecco matches the blue coral reef pattern on the pants. I had to pull out the prosecco for this photo because we typically drink some sparkling wine at the pool on opening weekend with our friends. While that won't be this weekend, because we have such a large acreage on the pool grounds, I am hoping that will be soon.
**I was gifted several items from Top it Off in order to review and share my opinion. This is not a sponsored post and all of the opinions are my own.
2) Erin Condren Planner
I know that it may seem a little odd to be purchasing a planner for 2020 with the state of the world as it is, but with more time to blog and a few opportunities coming my way, I needed to order a new planner for Good Better Best. The one I had is almost out because it ends in June.
The two ways I keep myself organized at work, home and on this site is with both Cozi online and with Erin Condren. The Erin Condren planners help me look at the big picture for Good Better Best planning and you can add in notebook pages to the back. This quote is perfect for me because I can be so hard on myself at times.
Even though things see so odd right now, birthdays will still happen, first day of school will still eventually happen, play practice will happen again, and yes, even high school hockey games will thankfully start again. We should at least put it on the calendar and hope for the Best.
3) Stella & Dot Memorial Day Sale
Stella & Dot and their family of brands has the Best sales and the one that kicked off yesterday is no exception. I was excited because there were a few Stella & Dot and Keep Collective items that I have had my eye on and they ended up being on the sale list. Here is what I have on the way:
***I am a Stella & Dot Ambassador and will receive a commission if you purchase

I love this top and I almost bought it during the flash sale earlier this month but hesitated. I was so happy when it ended up in this weekend's sale. I have been eyeing the lobster forever and now I think it is time he joins my arm party.
There are really Good items in this sale and perfect for birthdays and upcoming graduations. If you need any mock ups of personalized items, gifting or other style ideas just let me know. You can shop my site here.
4) Safe to Eat Bake and Break Cookies

Ok, admit it...everyone eats raw cookie dough. I even will have one gluten free break and bake before I put them in the oven. Somewhere along the line, we were told it is not Good for you to eat raw cookie dough. Ok...well now Pillsbury now has break and bake cookies that are safe to eat raw!
All the people safe at home said Amen!

5) Masked Singer
We are very late to the Masked Singer party. While I am not sure if we were not under Stay at Home orders we would necessarily be watching this...under these circumstances we are finding this show very amusing.

Are you watching the Masked Singer? What else should we watch during the Safe at Home orders?
That's what I have for you this week. Be sure to stop by the site on Monday or on Instagram to get the questions for next week's Monthly Musings. Next week join Holly and me as we talk Summer Food on Thursday's link up.
Stay well Besties!

ReplyDeleteYes Holly! These pants look like Lilly and fit like a dream but at a Better price point.
DeleteHappy long weekend sweet friend!
I can't admit it as I NEVER eat raw cookie dough.. I just can't...not even as cookie dough ice cream though my boys are trying to convince me to try it since I liked some brownie kind they had me try last week and are telling me the cookie dough batter is the same consistency. I'm still not sure though. I do love those palazzo pants and the fact that they don't wrinkle makes them so much better!
ReplyDeleteWow! Good for you on the cookie dough!
DeleteThe pants are amazing and they are at the Best price point too even before the GBB10 discount.
Have a beautiful weekend!
