Hello Monday-Fall Home Decor Part 2

 

Happy Monday Besties. I hope you had a Good weekend.  Even though I happen to be watching a Christmas movie as I work on this post, we are still embracing fall at our house. Today I am linking up with Holly  and Sarah for Hello Monday and continuing my fall home decor tour. Today I am taking you outside for the simple ways that I added fall touches to our house. My outdoor fall decor started with the orange and yellow mum that Dancing Granny gave me. I then added in the yellow mums in the tall planters. For some reason I find that the yellow mums last longer but it could just be my imagination. 

I love the tiny mums that became available over the last few years. I grabbed some yellow ones at Walmart and then I am trying to purple ones to see how they do out back. They both seem to be very hardy so far.

I also added some yellow mums in pots to the front step. I kept the faux boxwood spheres in the tall planters  and then added the mums right by the tall planters.

I hope this quick tour inspires you to add some simple fall touches to your home. There is still plenty of time to embrace fall and all of the beautiful tones of the season before it is time to decorate for the holidays.
