Hey Hey Monday. Did you have a Good weekend? We had the perfect fall weekend with some football, grilling, a little church, some soup making and his and hers acupuncture appointments. Today I am taking you on a little tour of my fall decorations for our house that I love this year. I feel like we have not had much of a fall this year weather-wise, but inside our home has all the fall feels. The Best part is several of the items I used this year are from rummage sales and our local Buy Nothing site. I will point out what those items are as we go along.
I am excited to link up with Sarah and Holly for Hello Monday and share my fall home tour with you. If you are ready, pour a hot cider or pumpkin spice coffee and join me for our fall house tour!
Living Room
Just a few fall touches in the living room but I am loving them. I picked up these two containers at our church rummage sale Labor Day weekend. I am pretty sure that they are Southern Living at Home. Remember when Southern Living had home decor. They were super inexpensive and in Good condition. I filled them with faux pumpkin and gourds from Michaels and silk fall leaves.
I had to include the Hallmark movie above Falling for Vermont as it is one of my favorites. My friend Jen also texted me right before this to tell me it was on, I had to take this photo to show her I was already watching it.
I typically have the earth-tone pillows on the couch for most of the year, except Christmas, and then I change out a few pillow covers for fall.
Dining Room
I love a Good tablescape, but typically I am the only one that notices it. I usually fine with that because it makes me so happy. This year Running Daddy has mentioned several times how Good the table looks. I will take that win.
The basket in the middle of the table I picked up on our local Buy Nothing site earlier this year. I also believe that it is Southern Living at Home and has a glass bottom. I used the same faux pumpkins and gourds with silk leaves as the containers in the living room. A few faux votives add a little ambiance.
Kitchen
A few years ago I upped my game for Christmas decorating in the kitchen and now I am getting in on some fall decor in the kitchen asl well. Nothing too crazy yet!
I have a few cute Christmas rugs and added these fall comfort mats this year. When I bought them online, I didn't realize they had a gnome hiding in them. I am not much of a gnome person but they do make me giggle a little.
I try to keep any clutter off the breakfast bar but had to add this trio as they are small and I think they are fun. I don't mind a little Autumn Mix, and I know that candy corn is very polarizing. When I saw this mini haunted house at Walmart, I had to add it to my cart. The top comes off and I have Halloween candy in there.
Family Room
Next, I am taking you downstairs to our family room. This room is really easy to decorate.
I have this lit garland on both the living room and family room mantles. It adds a nice little glow and some texture with the leaves.
The Blessed sign I also picked up on Buy Nothing and I think I picked it up in July, it was definitely summer, when I got it. If you have the room, don't hesitate to pick up seasonal items at rummage sales that you think would be a Good fit to your seasonal decor. I just had Running Daddy pick this in the attic until I needed it for fall.
This Mulled Cider candle from Walmart smells exactly like hot apple cider. It would be great in a kitchen but I keep it downstairs. I had this burning recently while I was working recently and it was truly delightful.
I hope you enjoyed my fall home tour. It's nothing too over the top but a few easy touches from Home Good, rummage sales and craft sales. Be sure to share how you bring fall into your home in the comments below. I want you to share the inspiration!

DeleteI enjoyed the tour. I remember the Southern Living line! I used to have a candle holder set from them but I guess in all the moves it was given away. Have a nice Monday!
ReplyDeleteIt's been really fun to find Southern Living items that I had my eye on years ago but didn't buy at rummage sales!
DeleteI love your decorations! We never bother decorating for this season but I am starting to wish I did. I love the garland on your fireplace and your dining room table is just perfect. x
ReplyDeleteThank you. I got into the fall decorating two years ago when I was recovering from Covid. I love to come home to the decorations after a long day.
