Friday Favorites February 16, 2024: Two Shows, Good Hair Product, Valentine's Day Decor and a Sweet Treat from Trader Joe's

Hey there Besties, I am so ready for this weekend. All three of us need a weekend to rest and engage in some self-care. It's been a few weeks since I linked up with Erika and Andrea for Friday Favorites and I am so ready to to share my fun list with you today. Today's list is all light-hearted and fun. I have two shows I am obsessed with, a hair product I just reviewed, my Valentine's mantle and a gluten-free French treat from Trader Joe's. Let's slide into the weekend and get ready for Friday Favorites.

1. Feud: Capote vs. The Swans

This limited series has everything I like. A true story in a period setting, a rockstar cast (we missed you on our screens Demi Moore), amazing costuming and gorgeous production quality. I am a week behind, but I am really enjoying this series. Is anyone else watching Capote vs. The Swans

2. The Way Home

The other show I truly love is The Way Home. This is the second season for this series on Hallmark and it is not your typical Hallmark show. Everything is not tied up in a nice neat bow, far from it. The story is riveting and the acting is amazing.

This is definitely not a series you can pick up in season two and know what is going on. Too much happens and there are so many twists, turns and I have no idea what just happened there's to start in season two.

If you are having bad weather this weekend check either of these series out, you can just thank me later Besties.

3. Nexxus Shine Spray

If you are not following me on Instagram and love product reviews, make sure to follow me @pcrichey as I get to share a lot of products on Instagram that I often don't cover on this site. There is a link directly from the main page. I like the Nexxus Epic Shine Spray. It does make my hair shiny, but it mostly gives me a really Good blowout.

I was not blessed with an naturally Good head of hair so I really rely on products to achieve manable hair. My hair definitely behaves when I use this product.

4. Trader Joe's Gluten-Free Madeleines

These are just delightful. Madeleines are little French cookies but I always think of them as more like a mini sponge cake. They are perfect after dinner or to serve at tea. You would never know these are gluten-free.

5. Valentine's Decor

I don't do a lot of decorating for Valentine's Day, I just do enough to make the house a little festive during the winter. I changed things up this year and love how the mantle came up. It's just a low-keytouch of Valentine's fun and most of the items I have had for years. Do you go all out for Valentine's Day or keep it low key?

I hope you have a Good weekend. Are you expecting snow this weekend? I think we are around here. I have to work on Monday but the boys have the day off.

See you back here next week.
