Happy New Year Besties! 2024 is here and I hope you are having a Good start to this new year. Did you make any resolutions this year? If so, how are they going so far?
I haven't really made resolutions for the last few years and have focused on a word like many others do. My word for 2024 is Less.
When I focus on the word "less" for this year, it is not meant to be negative, which at first blush one might think it could be. I almost went with the word "peace", but then I kept coming back to "less."
So many times in 2023 I just felt like I was drowning. Everything just seemed too much and I had way too much on my plate. Things just weren't serving me in their current state and I just need to have "less" in my life to bring more Joy, more peace, and more balance. I believe that "less" could lead to more and more of what I want.
To kick things off, these are the things that I am trying to have less of in my life lately:
-Scrolling
-Spending
-Noise
-Negativity
-Procrastination
-Clutter
I am open to any ideas you have on how to have less of the above. I also want you to leave your word for 2024, if you have one, in the comments below. Feel free to leave your resolutions in the comments too!

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear your word. I.try to not over think the word and just let it come to me. I kept coming back to peace and less and landed on less because I think less will lead to peace.
