Friday Favorites October 9, 2026: Cleaning Tool, Good Supplement, Throwback Lipstick, Retro TV Show, and Stitch Fix Revisi

Hey there Besties, this is the end of a very long week and I am looking forward to exhaling this weekend. I am going to see the Savannah Bananas and I am super excited for a little fun with my ladies. As we close out this week, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea for Friday Favorites.

1. Dust Buster Classic

For some reason, I have not owned a Dust Buster in many years. Our puppy Woodford sheds a ton and I needed a way to spot clean his shedding.

Dust Busters have come a long way since I last owned one and the Dust Buster Classic one is just perfect for quick spot vacuuming while Woodford is on his walk with Running Daddy in the morning.

Next up, I am going to use this in my car to clean up all of the dirt in the drivers side and to clean up the back cargo area after I head to pick up some mums at Home Depot this weekend.

2. Fuel Tribiotic

I started taking the Fuel tribiotic the end of the summer and I think it is really helping my digestion. I know that is definitely helping with some stomach bloating I have been having for a while. I am on my second bottle so I do feel confident recommending it here.

3. MAC Paramount

I used to wear a color very similar to Paramount that MAC doesn't make anymore. It used to be called Xtreme and came in a silver container. Year ago my dear friend told to try it because her mom had similar coloring to me and thought it would look Good on me. She was right.

Since the 1990's are back in, I wanted to see if I could find a similar color to the discontinued Xtreme. A quick Google search said that Paramount was very close and I grabbed a mini a few weeks ago. I love the minis because it is a great way to try a product without commitment.

Fun fact, I believe this is the shade that Jennifer Anniston wore for the Friends opening theme that is so very famous.

Here it is in real life. I applied with a light touch and also gave a little blot. MAC recommends Mahogany liner with Paramount, which is the same liner I used to use with Xtreme.

4. That Girl

Running Daddy and I went to a 1960's themed birthday party this weekend and I decided to channel Marlo Thomas in That Girl as my costume. I mean, I basically have the same hairdo!

Running Daddy, who was a Beatle, knew what the show was but had never really seen it before. We started binge watching That Girl on Peacock and we are loving it. I used to watch the reruns when I was little.

Everything about this show it fantastic. It's super funny, Ann is her own person, and the costuming for both the men and women are just to die for. This show was really groundbreaking at the time and was a precursor for the Mary Tyler Moore Show. It has really been giving us lift when we get home.

If you have never seen That Girl and have Peacock you can check out all five seasons. I promise you will be hooked.

5. Stitch Fix

I have been really struggling to find some dresses and jeans that fit lately. I order things and then send them back. I decided to order a Stitch Fix box which I have not done in a very long time. They have always been able to find jeans that fit me well and dresses that are the perfect length.

My stylist really listened to what I wanted which was a work dress, cardigans, blouses and a pair of dark rinse jeans. She totally hit it out of the park. I kept everything but the jeans and the only reason why I didn't keep the jeans, despite the fact that they fit well, was that didn't want raw hem and they sent raw hem. I don't feel right about wearing raw hem jeans to work on Fridays.

Stitch Fix has this really cool AI tool that you can see how things look on you digitally. That's the cardigan and dress from my Fix. It's kind of amazing how much this looks like me. Definitely using AI for Good and not Evil here!

These images save in your profile and you can use the photos as inspiration to put together different looks. Stitch Fix is completely elevated from where it was 10 years ago.

I wore the blouse with black pants to work and it was a perfect fall transition piece. Oh...and this blouse was on sale for less than $20! Now that's a Good stylist!

If you could use a little fall refresh, and could use a fresh eye or help with Fix, give Stitch Fix a try or revisit them if you have used the service in the past. They charge a $20 styling fee but that is credited toward anything you buy. Which basically covered the cost of the blouse above.

Right now Stitch Fix has a Friends + Family event where you will get $35 worth of credit on your first fix with my link. Please note that I will also get a credit if you use my link. I like to be very forthcoming about all of this.

That's what I have for this Friday. I hope you have the Best weekend.

*Note, I participate in Amazon associates and may make a small commission from any of my Amazon links.

    1. Thanks Maria. I think the key on the lip color is a light application and then blot. I am super happy with my Stitch Fix finds and everything fit. Ha...the costume was so fun. The boots were a journey. Thanks for stopping by.
