Brrr Besties! It literally went from summer to winter in a matter of days around here. How about where you live? Over the weekend I had the air conditioner on and yesterday morning I clicked the heat on to take the edge off because it was 58 degrees in our house. Running Daddy thought I left a window open, but that was not the case, it was just full-on cold. Now the weekend is here and I am ready to chill, make some food and watch a little hockey.
This week for Friday Favorites, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea with two shows that I am loving, a Good Hallmark movie, shoes that will elevate any outfit but are also comfortable and my favorite Mrs. Meyer's scent for fall. Are you ready? Let's Go!
1. The Golden Bachelor
This show is a total delight. With all of the bad stuff happening in the world right now, and there is a lot of bad stuff, The Golden Bachelor is a little ray of light. Gerry, from what I can tell, is a truly genuine guy who is looking for a second chance at love. I also find Joy in the way that the women support each other.
I am going to have to catch up on this week's episode over the weekend, but I think I already have picked out who the Golden Bachelorette will be. Feel free to leave your guesses in the comments below.
2. Southern Charm
There are parts of Southern Charm this season that are very sad, but overall this has been a really Good season. I am totally Team Olivia and I think that Shep is getting exactly what he deserves.
I am also getting the right amount of Leva and Venita. I like them an supporting players and I do think they would be Good friends to have.
Oh and Paige, she is all of us this season!
3. Ms. Christmas Comes to Town
One of the first movies out of the gate for Countdown to Christmas is Ms. Christmas Comes to Town. I love Barbara Niven who plays the title character. She is one my favorite actresses on Hallmark. Her warmth just radiates off the screen and this movie is no exception. I have heard her interviewed and she is just a delight as a person.
This movie was even Better than I hoped it would be. Sure there is a cute love story here but mostly it is about women supporting women and going out on your own terms. Definitely check this one out over the next two months of Hallmark movies.
4. Anne Klein Caroleen Shoes
For the last couple of months I have been looking for a low heeled shoe that I could wear with pants and dresses for work. I have some great wedges and I love my Rothy's but I wanted something with a little heel.
These shoes from Anne Klein totally fit the bill and Best of all, they are actually comfortable. I wore them with a dress earlier in the week and then with pants and a jacket yesterday. They have a touch of patent leather on them but I think they are still Good to go for winter because they are just an accent and not the whole shoe is patent.
5. Mrs. Meyer's Acorn Spice
Acorn Spice is hands down my favorite Mrs. Meyer's scent. It will make your entire house smell like fall. I have the dish soap, hand soap, multi-surface spray and candles.
If you want to inject a little fall into your house and do it in a clean way, Acorn Spice by Mrs. Meyer's is totally the way to do it.
I hope you all have a Good weekend. If your state participates in daylight savings don't forget to "fall back this weekend."
I'm with you on The Golden Bachelor-great little show! Have a wonderful weekend friend :)
ReplyDeleteIt has been cold and wet here, I am ready for it to be spring already and we're not even in winter yet. lol
ReplyDeleteThe Golden Bachelor sounds like a great show and I think I am ready to start watching Christmas movies over the weekend.
Those shoes are really pretty.
