Hey there Besties! I hope you are well and are just taking things one day at a time. I know I am and it is the only way I can work my way through this. We are safe at home and staying at home is a luxury. It is a luxury for us to be able to work at home and to know that Hockey Guy's distance learning is up and running and working so well.
It's Friday and I think we all need a little distraction, so I am linking up with Erika, Andrea, Narci to share what is bringing me Joy this week. We all need a little Joy right now.
1) Gretchen Scott Shopping Gloves and Masks
In addition to making beautiful tunics and other resort clothing, Gretchen Scott Designs is now making masks and shopping gloves. I ordered these right away and cannot wait to get them. I think we are in this for the long haul, especially with my health issues, and if I am going to have to wear a mask, I would like it to be cute.
I think this is a really Good option especially for someone that might need a little convincing to wear a mask. They have four patterns. The Best part...they are at a really Good price point.
2) Yoga on demand
Earlier in the week I was feeling like I needed to do a little yoga. Barre 3 is my exercise of choice and I can't do that right now. I have been running and walking with Stormy but I really felt like I needed to stretch.
I did a little yoga on demand in our home gym and it was just what I needed. I did 35 minutes of yoga with about 7 minutes of savasana.
If you are feeling a little uneasy in these times, and who isn't from time to time, take a moment and try to do a little yoga on demand. It's Good for the mind, body and spirit.
3) Real Housewives of New York
The ladies of the Big Apple are back...just in time. They are exactly what we need to get through this pandemic while we are safe at home. Thank you ladies. I am a little worried my girl Dorinda is going to have a tough season, but I am here for her. She is my ride or die housewife.

I am so ready for this season. Is anyone else watching? Not feeling the new girl...
4) Get Dressed Challenge Week 3
I am on week three of the Get Dressed Challenge. It has really helped me with my routine and helps differentiate between the days. The Best part is that so many of my friends are joining in and sending me their photos of how they got dressed. It brings me such Joy when people tag me in their photos and tell me that they got dressed that day. This week my friend's beautiful daughter even joined in.
This is not meant to be a competition in any way. I just want to people to feel Better during this time. I actually had to push myself to get dressed one day this week. I really didn't feel like getting dressed but I put on my softest cargo pants, blue grey shirt and some jewelry and I did feel Better.
I hope everyone is doing well during this time and that you have the Best weekend...it is the weekend you know!
I love Gretchen Scott' designs and these are just as adorable- thanks for sharing! Enjoying your "Get Dressed Challenge" from afar too- have a great weekend friend!
ReplyDeleteI can’t wait to hear about your mask and gloves! I sewed a few masks yesterday that have pockets for a filter. Our friends at Shade Critters and 8 Oak Lane are working on kids masks. I’ll let you know when they are ready! Check out my girls @thegrowroom on fb, insta, and YouTube for more yoga, stretching, and barre xxoo
ReplyDeletePlease send me the info on Shade Critters and 8 Oak Lane when they are ready! I will check out the Grow Room! I need some additional options for stretching...sitting in my new "office"is making me a little stiff.
DeleteHave a good weekend beautiful friend!
Holly,
ReplyDeleteCheck out the Gretchen Scott masks and gloves. I think you, your girls and your mom will love them. Feel free to send me a photo and join in the Get Dressed Challenge. Have a Good weekend sweet friend!
Oh my goodness, those are the cutest masks and gloves. Have a great weekend!! XOXO
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute mask! I'm doing really well with getting dressed every day, trying to wear all of my work clothes except dress pants (jeans are good enough for me!), but I'm failing miserably at my morning yoga. I need to get back on track!
