The top is down on the Jeep, the flowers are blooming and warmer temperatures are finally here. It's time for brighter colors, light layers and a great pair of shoes. Spring is a time for fashion and not just for us ladies, it's time for the guys to update their wardrobes. Today I am teaming up with Bonobos to point the guys towards the Best spring outfits for all of your warm weather fun, but don't worry ladies, I have some Good ideas for us too.

Bonobos is a great partner for Good Better Best as Running Daddy has been wearing Bonobos pants for about three years now. Running Daddy chooses Bonobos on a daily basis because he believes that their work pants are the Best he has ever tried. Bonobos is known for their excellent fit through their Guideshops and their success of eliminating "diaper butt" that is caused by so many other brands of khakis. The team at the Guideshop will provide your guy with personalized service, the Best fit, style suggestions, and it will all be shipped directly to him free of charge. What could be Better than that?

1) James Bond Meets Bonfire

When I showed this outfit to Running Daddy and the Sweet Boy they said "that is a total James Bond outfit" and I think that is the Best description. This would be the perfect outfit for the Bourbon and Bond party that Running Daddy attends as a fund raiser for the Sweet Boy's school. Layer the lightweight merino crewneck over the short sleeve henley when a chill hits the air at the bonfire or outdoor music festival. The Parker shorts come in a variety of colors and prints and are a perfect staple for warm weather wardrobes.

Ladies, rompers are still very hot this spring and this Lilka Vada romper is your Bond Girl to his "007". Finish off your look with these tassel sandals and jewelry.

2) Linen Car Coat for an Evening Under the Stars

What is more comfortable than a cozy sweater like this cotton shawl cardigan with a great pair of drawstring shorts? The cardigan is a wardrobe champion that can be worn almost all year round and the drawstring shorts come in a host of colors and patterns. The linen car coat is a sophisticated waterproof layer when spring showers pop up unexpectedly and ready to loan your lady should her shoulders get a little too cold in the cute cold shoulder top below. (wink)

White jeans  are a classic and I actually own this exact pair. They would look letter perfect with this sweet cold shoulder top for a jazz concert under the stars. Just add a glass of cold rose to the ankle strap wedgescat eye sunglasses and pink stone necklace and you are ready for a great night.

3) The Safari Jacket for Wherever Your Summer Travels Take You

This travel outfit will take you from the quick ferry to the islands to meeting up with your old college roommate for dinner on the water. The Nomad Sweatshort and Yarn Spun V-Neck Tee are the perfect relaxed look for your journey. Pair with the Indigo-Linen Button Down for a dressier evening and add the Safari Jacket to combat the chill off the ocean or on that transcontinental flight.

She can go from baggage claim directly to the oyster bar in this cap sleeve dress from Loft. When the band starts up be ready to hit the dance floor with the perfect pair of open toe ankle booties

4) Unconstructed Blazer for the Unique Occasion

Whether a Friday night wedding or attending a Derby party, you will be mint julep ready in this Italian wool blazer and the life of the party in the foundation trousers. Grab the Yarn Spun Pocket Tee for a semi-formal look and your classic leather dress belt and you will be the Best dressed man.

Stand out from the crowd on Millionaires Row or in the receiving line in a yellow lace dress with elegant beaded tassel earrings.

Grab your adorable cork clutch and your are out the door, just be careful in the turf in your heels ladies. Fascinators optional.

5) Running Daddy's Bonobos Style

Running Daddy has been wearing Bonobos for about three years now and we can attest that they fit and hold up well. Today, he paired his washed chinos with a classic white button down, golfing belt and tan driving mocs.

No "diaper butt" here, just a peek of the cheeky fish pocket lining.

My retro-style top is from the Victoria Beckham Collection for Target* and is currently sold out online. I am loving these pants from Loft this season and I am a big fan of Sam Edelman shoes. You can find a similar style here.

*Note: Although I work for Target in Government Affairs, all opinions are my own.

If your guy could use a little upgrade in his style or would love to own perfectly fitted pants, make the leap this spring and book him an appointment at a Bonobos Guideshop. It just might be the Best fashion decision you ever make.

***Special thanks to Margaret Richey Photography for the beautiful photos of Running Daddy and me.
